Which parent does not want a good relationship with their own child?

Your relationship with your children is one of the most important foundations in their lives. A strong, loving bond builds trust, fosters emotional security, and helps your children thrive in all aspects of life. When kids feel connected to you, they're more likely to open up, share their feelings, and grow into confident, empathetic individuals. It's never too late to strengthen that connection—through patience, listening, and spending meaningful time together. It lays the groundwork for a lifetime of mutual respect, love, and support.

There is no school on parenthood yet and often we as parents are left with what we had been exposed to in our own childhood. And sometimes we as parents lack the knowledge and skills, that would benefit us in parenting. And sometimes we lack the support of mind-like people we need, that would benefit us and get us through the day without emotional overwhelm.

Parenting problems often arise when there's a disconnect between a parent's expectations and a child's needs or behavior. Many times, parents are trying their best but might unknowingly rely on outdated methods or struggle to adapt to their child's changing emotional landscape. Factors like stress, communication breakdowns, or unresolved personal issues can get in the way, making it difficult to build trust and understanding. Parenting isn't just about guiding children—it's about constantly growing and learning alongside them. When these elements clash, it can lead to frustration and a feeling that "nothing's working." The key is realizing that parenting isn't a one-size-fits-all journey, and what worked in one moment might not work in the next.

what do you want to not mess up?

A not working = broken relationship with your own child can be one of the most painful and complex challenges a parent may face. It often involves feelings of frustration, sadness, and guilt, combined with the child's sense of isolation, hurt, or rebellion. This disconnect may manifest in communication breakdowns, constant conflict, emotional withdrawal, or feelings of misunderstanding on both sides.

Signs of a Broken Relationship with Your Child:

Lack of Communication: Conversations may feel forced, and meaningful dialogue is rare. The child might avoid talking to you, or conversations are limited to surface-level topics, often leading to arguments.

Emotional Distance: There is a noticeable emotional gap. Your child may seem withdrawn, detached, or unresponsive to attempts to connect. You, as the parent, might feel helpless or unsure of how to bridge that gap.

Constant Conflict: Disagreements and confrontations may have become a daily occurrence. There might be frequent shouting, accusations, or passive-aggressive behavior from both sides.

Lack of Trust: Trust may have eroded over time, possibly due to misunderstandings, broken promises, or misaligned expectations. The child may not confide in you anymore, and you may feel unsure about their intentions or actions.

Feeling Unappreciated: Parents often feel like their efforts go unnoticed or are unappreciated. The child might seem indifferent to the care, guidance, or discipline provided, leading to frustration on the parent's side.

Resentment or Blame: Either party may hold deep-seated resentment, blaming the other for the deterioration of the relationship. This often fuels further disconnection.

- accountability, healing, and solid structure in parenthood

The program overview and secret method

The motive for creating a Parenting gone right is to provide essential support, guidance, and confidence to new parents as they navigate the challenging and transformative experience of caring for a child.

My course "Parenting gone right" introduces parents to foundational coaching skills that can be used in everyday parenting. By understanding and applying these skills, parents will learn how to guide their children toward self-confidence, emotional intelligence, and independence. The course will focus on active listening, asking powerful questions, fostering accountability, and encouraging problem-solving.

Coaching, in the context of parenting, is an approach that shifts away from traditional authoritarian or directive styles and focuses on guiding children to discover their own answers, make responsible choices, and develop the emotional and cognitive tools to navigate life independently. Parenting through coaching is not about controlling or dictating a child's actions but rather helping them grow through exploration, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.

The result of the program

By the end of this course, parents will:

  1. Understand the core principles of coaching and how they apply to parenting.
  2. Develop skills to listen more effectively and communicate with intention.
  3. Learn to ask powerful questions that encourage their children to think critically.
  4. Promote accountability and responsibility in their children.
  5. Build their children's emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  6. Cultivate an environment that encourages autonomy and growth.
  7. Learn skills and solid structure you keep for life
  8. A relationship with your child can always be mended with genuine effort and understanding, even if it takes time. Healing begins with empathy, listening, and a willingness to rebuild the emotional bridge that has been damaged.
